Runningnose padded into the clearing, and looked around before sitting down. There was hardly any cats, and no medicine cats, so that could effect the fate of her kittens. Pulling a piece of freshkill toward her, Runningose ate and when in the nursery. Being so heavy with its, she could hunt or fight until the kits where apprentices. Runningnose came back out of the nursery and went under the big old willow tree. The willow tree provded much shade in the summer, and leafbare would be coming. Deciding to take a nap, Running nose fell alseep under the tree, hoping that there would be more cats when she awoke.

Midnightdevil trotted out of the medicine den and shivered as the chill bit through her short pelt. Leaf-bare was definitely setting in, which meant more work for her as more cats fell sick. She looked around briefly, scanning the clearing for any cats she hadn't met yet. Midnightdevil was a new addition to the clan, having only joined a few hours ago, and she was keen to get to know those she would be living with, hopefully for the rest of her life. She spotted one, a seal-point she-cat who was sleeping under a willow. Not wanting to wake her, Midnightdevil padded closer to her and sat down quietly. Judging by the look of her, she was heavily pregnant. It seemed the new medicine cat had come just in time.

Runnningnose woke up and looked up. Seeing the new cat she sleepily meowed "Hi. You the new Medicine cat?" shifting her position to sit up, she blinked and began grooming her messy coat, even though it was too short to need to be groomed often. Nodding, she watched Midnightdevil curiously.

Allyssumpelt stretched in the midday sun, catching as much warmth as she could, after all it wasn't summer anymore. Seeing the two other cats she yawned and walked toward them, her eye pupil almost completely gone in the shadeless sun. Lazily striding over to the other two, she found that one was heavily pregnant and the other was... medicine cat? Seeing that she'd only been there a few minutes, she didn't know but it made sense. It looked as if Allyssum was the only warrior here, because of the heavily pregnant other warrior, the queen. Wouldn't it make sense to have a medicine cat apprentice then? She thought. Shaking herself she sat down next to the midnight black one. "Hey, how're you doing?" She purred easily, obviously in a good mood. "I'm Allyssum." Still purring she told them then correcting herself, she was no longer a rogue. "Ah, er- Allyssumpelt." Allyssumpelt didn't think she'd ever get used to that. Turning her wise gaze on them she smiled.

Runningnose turned in time to see the other new cat. Flciking her ears back and forth she listened to the warrior. "Hi, I'm Runningnose. And this is the new Medicine cat Midnightdevil. And you name is Allyssumpelt right? Neat name." She smiled and flicked her tail. She was excited to have her kits, for she had never been a mother before and so it would be nice to be a mother. Turning her her gaze toward the water she watched the waves lazeily crash into on each other.
OOC: Their on a beach, so yea with the whole waves thing.

Allyssumpelt purred at the compliment coming from the pregnant queen, now she knew her as Runningnose. Turning to look at Midnightdevil, who looked more kind than a devil, she meowed carefully with her half there humor she said. "You've met your apprentice then? You both look very much good." She meowed to Midnightdevil which was a weird name to say to a cat who's only goal in life was to help others.

Midnightdevil gave the newcomer a welcoming smile as Runningnose introduced her. It felt good to see the clan gaining new warriors to hunt and fight, particularly seeing as there was soon going to be young kits to feed. Besides, Allyssumpelt seemed like a good cat, there was something trustworthy and somehow wise about her, even though she was quite young. She nodded at the light brown cat's words, thinking about her new apprentice happily. "Thank you," She mewed with a smile, Fuchsiapaw is a quiet little thing, but she's smart and I'm sure she'll do very well as my apprentice." She licked one of her night-black paws, then looked at the two other she-cats, "So where've you all come from?" She asked curiously.

Allyssumpelt smiled easily, it was no surprise this question would come up, it was only natural curiosity. She was ready for this one. "Well my mother was feral as I heard twolegs say it when they saw her and us." I mewed fluidly then I looked around thoughtfully. "So I guess I was what you call a loner or rogue." I groomed my chest with relaxing strokes, looking at Runningnose curiously.

"I came from what you would call a kittypet. Thats where I got my looks from. When I was old enough, I ran off and never went back, besides, I liked freshkill better than that nasty kittypet food. She again watched the waves, noticing how long it took before another wave crashed into the one wave. So peaceful, but will there ever be any other Clans? She then turned her gaze toward the other cats and smiled, it was nice to be in a clan other then being a kittypet.

Allyssumpelt finally eased herself down onto her stomach and watched the other cats. It was nice like this, sitting in a patch of sun that warmed her pelt and the waves crashing behind her was lulling, her eyes drooped a little, her ears relaxed and she was perfectly at peeace.

Midnightdevil listened to she-cat's stories with interest, storing them away in her brain. She was quiet for a moment, following Runningnose's gaze and staring out to see. After a little while she realised it was her turn and in light, relaxed voice she gave her story. "My father was kittypet but my mother was a rogue. She brought me up alone and tought me everything I know about herbs and medicine. One day when I was twelve months she didn't come back to our den." A sad sigh escaped the oddly named cat, "I found her dead on a thunderpath, I guess she must have been hit by a monster." I wandered on my own for a while, then I found the clan and-" She shrugged and gave a slight smile, "Here I am."

"I feel sorry for you. Never really having a chance to grow up with you mother." Runningnose said and nodded. She had a mother, but she had left her when she ran away from her twolegs. She knew that her mother might be alive, but she would never see her again and neither would the medicine cat. Sighing, she layed down and put her head on her paws, looking out to sea.

Midnightdevil's small smile grew and she gave Runningnose a thankful look, grateful for the symmpathy. "Yes, it was hard at first, but I've learned to live with it." Feeling a little down she decided to change the subject slightly. In a happier voice she said, "But you're going to be a mother soon, that must be exciting for you, eh?" She grinned. Midnightdevil was Medicine Cat, and so she was unlikely to ever have kits of her own. It was the only drawback of the position that she could think of, and she didn't mind too much. So long as she got to care for the queens and kits she was happy.

Runningnose looked her and smiled. Yea, an exciting task. It will be good, learning new things about kits and stuff. She smiled and nodded. It would be easily at first, then the kits would need to be reminded about things and stuff. And having kits in leafbare wasn't such a good idea, but it was going to happen and she couldn't stop it.

Ashwhisker walked up to Runnignose to see if she was fine, of course people thought he could be a bit over protective,"Hello, how is everyone today?." He looked around it was chilly since it was leaf-bare but no snow yet, and he really hoped the kits would be born before snow would come for their and there mothers sake.
